Bill Smyth, Environment Engineer Associate - State of Alaska, Dept of Environmental Conservation - Fairbanks

President/Section Chair Elect (2008-2009)
Kurt Egelhofer, Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility - Director of Operations and Maintenance for the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility. Prior to AWWU, Kurt was Engineering Manager for the State of Alaska, Village Safe Water program, where he worked for 17 years planning, designing, building, and operating water and sewer improvements in rural Alaska. Mr. Egelhofer is a member of the Governor’s Water and Wastewater Works Advisory Board, has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering. He is currently registered in the fields of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (retired) in the State of Alaska.

Delegate - Water Environment Federation (WEF) (2006-2008)
Tom Wolf - Tom Wolf, P.E., is a principal engineer in CH2M HILL's Anchorage office with more than 25 years of Alaska engineering experience.  Tom leads CH2M HILL's water, wastewater, and water resources practices in Alaska.  Tom is a licensed professional engineer in Alaska and a certified Project Management Professional.  He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and his M.S. in Arctic Engineering from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Director - American Water Works Association (AWWA) 2006-2008

Craig R. Woolard is the Treatment Divistion Director for Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Montana State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.  Craig has an active research program at UAA investigating various fundamental and applied issues related to municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment.  Craig has been an active member of AWWMA since moving to Alaska in 1994.  He is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of Alaska.
